RIGGINS

CF Jordan Construction LLC, an El Paso, Texas, commercial construction firm, has hired John Riggins as director of business development. He is based in Dallas.

The Shaw Group Inc., Baton Rouge, La., has hired Timothy J. Pocheas chief accounting officer. He was most recently an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, serving as office managing partner and professional practices director in the firm's New Orleans office.

Larry D. McKillophas joined The Beck Group, Dallas, as architecture principal overseeing the company's health-care design group. He had been health-care principal at RTKL.

Sundt Construction Inc., Tempe, Ariz., has hired Martin J. Garza to serve as area manager in charge of leading higher education business development in the firm's Texas division, based in San Antonio.

Kenneth Perret, former assistant secretary of the Louisiana Dept. of Transportation and Development and a former administrator of the Federal Highway Administration, has been reelected as president of the Louisiana Good Roads and Transportation Association, a nonprofit organization that promotes effective transportation planning, design, construction and maintenance in the state. Also elected as officers for 2012 were David Huval, of Huval & Associates, as senior vice president; Johnny Bradberry, former DOTD secretary, as vice president; and Ken Naquin, CEO of Louisiana Associated General Contractors, as secretary-treasurer. New directors elected for 2012 include Joseph Accardo, executive director of the Ports Association of Louisiana; Gen. John Basilica, of engineer HNTB; and William B. Conway, of design firm Modjeski and Masters. W.P. Wray Jr. is director emeritus.

 

MCKONE

Engineering firm Atkins North America has announced several new Texas-based managers. Peter D. McKone has joined the firm as practice manager for the environmental science and planning sector. Based in Fort Worth, he also is an adjunct professor at Texas Christian University and a research associate at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas. John D. Wilder II is now business development leader and senior program manager in the firm's hospitality architecture practice, while Mark E. Tomlinson is a principal project director in its transportation planning division.
