Houston-based architecture and urban design firm Llewelyn-Davies Sahni celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Since 1980, LDS has had a hand in many regional projects including the George R. Brown Convention Center, plans for Houston’s two major airports and revamping the Houston Community College System facilities and campuses.
Notable projects include the design of eight illuminated sculptures that commemorated the 1990 Economic Summit of the G-8 Nations in Houston. The structures were displayed at the George R. Brown Convention Center during the summit and relocated to Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.
Ongoing projects include work for Houston Community College, Houston Airport System, Houston and San Antonio Central Business Districts and Harris County Hospital District.
