Ten out of 337 metropolitan areas added construction jobs between February 2009 and 2010, the AGC of America recently reported, citing data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Houston lost more construction jobs (25,500, or 13%) in that time than any other metro area.

El Paso was among the metro areas adding construction jobs in those 12 months, with 400 jobs, or 3%.
