commentChicago-based CNA – the seventh largest U.S. commercial insurer and the 13th largest U.S. property and casualty insurer – honored Lubbock-based Lee Lewis Construction with its Leadership Safety Award.
CNA chose 56 accounts throughout the country to receive the award. Lee Lewis Construction is the 19th largest account of those 56 based on premiums to receive this award. It is also the only Texas firm to receive the award.
The award is based on the firm’s dedication to safety, participation in CNA training programs such as the OSHA 10-hour fall protection seminar, fleet safety, ergonomics at the construction site and job site observations throughout the year.
Consideration is also given to the loss ratio, which has shown a significant decline over the last three years dating back to the 2006 policy period.
