State of Texas leadership selected the Dallas office of Skanska USA Building for pre-construction and construction management services for the new Texas Facilities Commission Regional Office in Weslaco. The $21.5-million facility will serve the South Texas region.

The 110,000-sq-ft office project will include construction of a regional administration office building, drivers license building, crime lab and ancillary building.

Skanska will manage site access, pedestrian and vehicle circulation and parking and support structures.

Completion is slated for February 2011.
