IH-45-Gulf Freeway Project Near Calder Progresses
November 2009
In late summer, the existing Calder overpass on IH-45 in Galveston was demolished as part of the construction of an at-grade crossing of SH 96 at the IH-45 flyover just south of Calder. Houston-based W. W. Webber began working on the $21-million project in 2007. The project is scheduled to be complete in March.
