Scott Hines Area Manager Local crews have kept busy with post-Hurricane Katrina work in recent years, but those opportunities are ending, Hines says. "We're about at the end of our federal hurricane funding," he notes. Still, Hines says there are some Katrina-related projects in the pipeline, such as a $20-million replacement for Johnson Bayou High School in Cameron. Meanwhile, industrial work is on the upswing following Cheniere Energy's announcement that it will spend more than $6 billion to expand its liquefied natural gas facility in Cameron. |
