Bosch 11320VS Chipping Hammer
Bosch
Power Tools and Accessories, a division of
Mount Prospect, Ill.-based Robert Bosch Tool Corp., has introduced the
11320VS 3kg SDS-plus chipping hammer.
Bosch officials say the new product boasts the
fastest removal rate of any hammer on the market and
has no equivalent when it comes to tile, plaster, mortar
and adhesive removal; laying open concrete reinforcements;
and grooving for electrical or cleaning joints.
The hammer's 6.5-amp motor produces up to 3,500 BPM at 3.2 ft./lbs. per
impact. Bosch claims that the lightweight tool--it weighs 7.9 lbs.--offers
the best power-to-weight ratio in its class.
This chipping hammer also features the Bosch Vario-Lock system, which
allows users to turn the bit 360 degrees to one of 12 positions for comfort
and ease of use. The variable speed trigger provides excellent control,
Bosch claims, and a recessed lock-on button located at the trigger switch
that allows the user to lock the tool on for extended use. A cushioned
soft grip provides shock and vibration absorption while soft start offers
optimal control.
The 11320VS comes with a new Bosch HS1465 tile chisel. Specially designed
to easily penetrate underneath tiles, it offers 140-percent faster removal
rate than standard chisels and reduces breakage for quicker clean-up.
It also comes with the new viper flat chisel.

Multiquip
Inc. DuoScreed
Multiquip Inc. of Carson, Calif., has introduced
a "one-man" DuoScreed that is designed to feast on even the
toughest concrete work.
The DuoScreed sports a blade profile that enables just one operator to
strike off concrete floors. And the model encompasses blades that are
50 percent lighter than those on its predecessor for greater maneuverability,
faster finishes and stronger slabs.
The DuoScreed features an integrated lifting bar that is now part of
the control
handle. The unit's vibratory action embeds aggregate and reduces air voids,
producing a dense slab while eliminating the labor associated with manual
screeding.
The DuoScreed's advanced blade allows one side to be used for standard
form-to form screeding while the other is utilized for wet screeding.
Blades are available in widths up to 20 ft. and each is constructed with
extruded aluminum alloy for maximum durability and lightweight operation.
A four-stroke, 1.5-hp, Honda GX-31 gasoline engine powers the 32-lb.
