Glen Gulino and Donald David to Manage
New Positions for ISC
Industrial Specialty Contractors
LLC is expanding with a new office in Beaumont. The office
will service the Texas Golden Triangle area and Lake Charles,
La.
Glen J. Gulino
was appointed by ISC as the regional manager for the Beaumont
and Lake Charles areas. He will oversee the operations from
the company's new Beaumont office. Gulino is a 1986 graduate
of Louisiana State University in construction management.
He has been an associate of ISC since 1989 and served as a
project coordinator, construction coordinator and more recently
as estimating/business development manager at the ISC corporate
office in Baton Rouge, La. He is active in the Associated
Builders and Contractors Southeast Texas and Lake Charles
regions.
Donald A. David
was recently named by ISC as engineering/estimating
manager. He will manage these departments at the ISC corporate
office. David has been an associate of ISC since 1990. He
holds a bachelor's of science in electrical engineering from
Louisiana State University. He also holds a Louisiana and
Texas Professional Engineering License. Other licenses include
a Master Electrician License for the states of Alabama, Tennessee,
Mississippi and California.
ISC, with offices in Baton Rouge, Houston and Beaumont, specializes
in industrial instrumentation and electrical work for the
chemical processing, petrochemical, communications, power,
pulp & paper and refining industries. The firm has been
recognized nationally by numerous organizations and industrial

and community involvement.

Burt Moorhouse, president of
Moorhouse Construction since 1981, has relocated his personal
and professional headquarters from Corpus Christi to Houston.
Moorhouse has guided the company to its present size of more
than 100 employees and three offices.
Moorhouse Construction is a leading commercial contractor
that focuses on building specialized teams to achieve superior
results for complex projects. In business since 1976, Moorhouse
Construction is now headquartered in Houston, with offices
in Corpus Christi and Harlingen. The company is experienced
in design-build and construction management in the education,
healthcare, food processing and petrochemical industries.

John W. Carver has joined Rogers-O'Brien
Construction Co. in Dallas as vice president-hospital and
healthcare group. Carver will lead the strategic efforts of
Rogers-O'Brien in obtaining healthcare construction projects
throughout Texas.
Most recently, Carver was a founding shareholder and chief
hospital officer for ScriptRx, a start-up hospital technology
company that is now the leader in generating computerized
prescriptions in U.S. hospitals. With a 25-year career in
hospital management, Carver has served in senior executive
positions in the Baylor and Methodist hospital systems in
Dallas. During his tenure as senior vice president/COO for
Methodist Medical Center, he led a $125 million redevelopment
of its main campus.
Carver is a 1974 graduate of Trinity University, San Antonio,
with a B.A. degree in Economics and a l976 graduate of Washington
University School of Medicine, St. Louis, with an M.H.A. degree
in Health Administration. Carver served as chairman of the
Dallas Fort Worth Hospital Council in l996 and in l994 won
the Senior Level Healthcare Executive Regents Award for Northeast
Texas.

Godfrey G. Little was recently
appointed as COO of CONTECH Construction Products Inc., a
newly created position. Little will have full profit and loss
responsibility for the company's base business, which includes
engineered pipe, corrugated pipe, engineered bridges, plastics,
specialty products and allied products.
Little brings a wealth of expertise to CONTECH. Prior to
joining the company, he spent 27 years with Ingersoll-Rand
Co. in several key positions. Most recently, he was vice president
and general manager of the Road Development Division, a $500
million business. From 1998 to 2001, he was vice president
and general manager of the Blaw-Knox Construction Equipment
Division, where he orchestrated a dramatic financial turnaround
resulting in two consecutive years of record earnings. He
also served as director of strategic sourcing, worldwide marketing
manager and division controller. The appointment of Little
will allow CONTECH's leadership team to focus on acquisitions
while fully integrating new subsidiaries like Keystone, CONTECH
Bridge and Vortechnics into the CONTECH business portfolio.
Little is a 1972 graduate of Campbell University and served
in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam
War. CONTECH Construction Products Inc. is a leading civil
engineering site solutions products and services company headquartered
in Middletown, Ohio.

Jim Short has joined Carter
& Burgess Inc. as a senior consultant for food processing
in the firm's retail and distribution division of its Fort
Worth office.
Short comes to Carter & Burgess with more than 26 years
of experience in food processing operations management, training,
logistics and process design. As a specialist in food processing
facilities, Short comes to Carter & Burgess after having
worked as the director of processed meats for Bryan Foods,
and manufacturing manager for Oscar Mayer Foods, plant manager
for Gilardi Foods (division of Con Agra), and logistics analyst
for Kraft Foods.

Ted Speas has joined Carter
& Burgess Inc. as a project manager in the firm's retail
and distribution division of its Fort Worth office.
Speas comes to Carter & Burgess as a licensed mechanical
contractor in Florida and has more than 16 years of experience
in the areas of food distribution, food and pharmaceutical
manufacturing and general merchandise distribution. He has
served as project manager on frozen food distribution centers,
refrigerated food distribution centers and multi-temp food
DC and order fulfillment centers.
Speas earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Florida in 1987.
