Central Texas Chapter of USGBC Hires First Exec Director
Size and positive growth of region’s green-building movement motivates appointment.
The Central Texas-Balcones Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council announced recently the appointment of its first executive director, Jane Baxter Lynn.
Texas A&M University’s Department of Construction Science and the Construction Industry Advisory Council has inducted David Preston, vice president of the Dallas office of Balfour Beatty Construction, into its hall of fame. The Hall of Fame Award was created to honor non-alumni who have made a difference in the industry and have helped advance the construction science program at Texas A&M. Preston is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.

O. Trevino Construction LLC of Roanoke announced the addition of Russell Baldwin as a senior project engineer to its Estimator/ Engineers department. Baldwin is a graduate of Texas A&M.
Skanska USA Building Inc.’s San Antonio office announced the addition of Jamie Blakeslee as business development manager and the promotion of Eric Bunner to senior project manager. Blakeslee graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in organizational communications. Bunner graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology management.
