Block 21/W Austin

The Block 21 mixed-use development includes a 250-room W Hotel with Bliss Spa, 196 luxury condominiums under the W Residences brand, a 2,200-seat music venue that will be the new home for KLRU’s renowned Austin City Limits television program, a three-story underground parking garage and retail space.

Construction began with a 35-ft-deep excavation encompassing an entire city block in downtown Austin.

The project is pursuing a LEED-Gold certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program. Sustainable highlights include regional and recycled products and the use of the municipal chilled water system.
