Richland High School

PROJECT COST: $47,251,941

Richland High School

The Richland High School project is a two-story, concrete-masonry unit, brick veneer building. The scope of work also included 86,000 sq ft of renovations and 200,000 sq ft of demolition to the existing structure after the new construction and renovation construction phases were complete.

Also included were additions to classrooms, science lab, art rooms, administration offices and parking. The existing food service facilities were renovated and upgraded, as well as the interior athletic gym equipment in three gyms and locker room facilities.

When Birdville ISD requested an early move-in date for the field house, dance studio and gymnasium, the Adolfson & Peterson Construction project team viewed it as an opportunity to better serve the client. The general contractor turned over the field house five months early and the dance studio was turned in three months ahead of schedule.
