Terminal C Ticketing, Baggage Claim and ITT Level Remodel

PROJECT COST: $56,800,000

Terminal C Ticketing, Baggage Claim and ITT Level Remodel

Recent work at Bush Intercontinental Airport includes a remodel of all levels of the Terminal C central terminal building and adjacent curbsides. All mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems are receiving upgrades, which includes the replacement of lighting systems, removal and replacement of plumbing systems, new HVAC AHUs and ductwork, and the addition of fire sprinkler protection.

Work also includes all new interior finishes at the baggage and ticket levels, including new ceiling, paint, refurbished terrazzo floor and a new interior layout. Extensive baggage system renovations include new curbside check-ins and upgrades to the existing baggage system. The east parking garage is being modified to accommodate passenger drop-off and the curbs at the baggage level curbsides are receiving all new stained concrete.

The project is phased to ensure that the terminal remains open during the construction process. SpawGlass has completed past projects at the airport, including major renovations of terminals C and D, as well as interior work at terminal E.
