Legacy at Memorial

PROJECT COST: $63,000,000

Legacy at Memorial is a 25-story luxury apartment tower including 270 one- and two-bedroom units, several featuring large terraces and verandas with views of downtown and Buffalo Bayou. The tower’s fourth floor will feature a temperature-controlled wine storage facility, a tasting room/lounge and a cigar bar with humidor.

A four-story, 60-unit apartment building connects the tower with a pool and zen garden. Amenities include a media center, poolside lounge, private cabanas, training center, 44 private garages and structured parking.

General contractor E. E. Reed Construction worked closely with the developer, who had purchased the property from another developer. The project required significant value engineering to meet a pre-determined construction budget established by the new owner in order to close on the acquisition.
