U.S. Army Infantry Brigade Combat Team
PROJECT COST: $110,000,000
The 19-month U.S. Army Infantry Brigade Combat Team project involves providing materials, equipment and labor for the construction of the Infantry Brigade Combat Team 1 and 2 infrastructure. This includes construction of the contractors’ storage yard with temporary water, sanitary sewer, communications and electrical distribution; as well as site preparation, installation of sanitary sewer mains and natural gas distribution systems. Other work includes reinforced concrete paving, a highway overpass, associated landscaping and traffic control.
Crews are performing $110 million in just 19 months, putting in place an average of $5.7 million worth of work per month.
J.D. Abrams is coordinating work with numerous other site contractors. Crews must meet 26 milestones within the schedule or face penalties.
