Texas Construction presents its second annual Top Design ranking,
and the resulting list of 100 architect and engineering firms
shows that the firms collectively billed nearly $2.2 billion
in state and approximately $12.5 billion from all projects.

Lands $1 Billion Contract for Texas LNG Terminal 
A new $1 billion liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Southeast
Texas is expected to add about 2 billion cu. ft. per day to
the U.S. LNG market after completion in 2009.

When Texas voters cast their ballots next month for one of
the state's four leading gubernatorial candidates, they will
also decide the fate of approximately $3.5 billion in bond
programs on the local ballots of 52 independent school districts.
Bonds that pass will finance new facilities, upgrades and
repairs to public schools.
